  • 1 lb. mixed candied fruit
  • 1/2 lb. candied whole red cherries
  • 1/2 lb. candied pineapple (green)
  • 15 oz. white raisins
  • 1 c. sherry
  • 1 lb. butter
  • 10 eggs
  • 2 c. sugar
  • 4 c. flour

    In a large bowl, combine all candied fruit and raisins.

    Pour sherry over fruit.

    Soak overnight.

    Cream butter and sugar; beat in eggs until very light.

    Add flour (reserve a little to flour fruit).
