- 1 pkg. yeast
- 1/4 c. warm water
- 4 c. flour
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. lemon peel
- 1 1/4 c. sugar
- 2 sticks oleo
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 1 c. milk, scalded and cooled
- 1 tsp. cinnamon
Directions

1Dissolve yeast in warm water. Combine flour, salt, lemon peel and 1/4 c. sugar. Cut in oleo. Combine eggs, milk & yeast. Add to flour mixture. Combine lightly. Cover tightly. Refrigerate overnight. Divide dough in half. Roll on floured surface to 18 X 12 rectangle. Spread each half with 1/2 c. sugar and cinnamon mixture. Roll up tightly. Cut in 1 inch slices. Place on greased cookie sheet. Flatten with palm of hand. Bake at 400 degrees for 15-18 minutes. Drizzle with icing. Makes 36 rolls.
