  • 1 (7 1/2 oz.) can minced clams
  • 2 Tbsp. minced onion
  • 1 Tbsp. butter or margarine
  • 1 1/2 Tbsp. flour
  • 1/4 tsp. garlic powder
  • 1/4 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • 12 slices bread
  • 2 Tbsp. melted butter

Directions

    Drain clams; reserve liquid.

    Melt butter and saute onions. Blend in flour, Worcestershire sauce and garlic powder.

    Stir in clam juice.

    Cook over low heat, stirring constantly, until thickened.

    Add minced clams; blend.
