Clam Cheese Dip

  • 5 oz. minced clams
  • 8 oz. cream cheese
  • 1 Tbsp. chopped onion
  • 2 tsp. lemon juice
  • 1/4 c. clam liquid
  • 1/4 tsp. salt

    Drain clams and save liquid.

    Soften cream cheese 20 to 30 seconds on medium in a 1-quart (1 liter) microproof casserole. Mix cream cheese, onion, lemon juice and clam liquid well.

    Add salt to taste.

    If mixture is too thick, add more clam liquid for easy dunking.

    Serve fresh vegetables or crackers.
