  • 1/4 c. finely cut bacon or 2 Tbsp. margarine
  • 1 (6 1/2 oz.) can clams, minced
  • 1 c. diced raw potatoes
  • 3/4 c. water
  • 2 1/2 c. milk
  • 1/4 c. minced onion

Directions

    Saute bacon and onion until onion is tender.

    Drain clams. Add clam liquor, potatoes and water to onion and bacon; cook about 10 minutes, until potatoes are tender.

    Add clams; heat through. Just before serving, add milk; heat to simmer.

    Serves 4.
