  • 1/8 c. butter or margarine
  • 1/2 c. chopped onion
  • 1 (5 oz.) can chopped clams with liquid
  • 1 can New England style clam chowder
  • 1 can cream of potato soup
  • 1 1/3 c. milk
  • 1 small can evaporated milk
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • bit of grated carrot (optional)

Directions

    Melt butter; add onion and grated carrot (optional) and cook until tender.

    Stir in remaining ingredients and heat until good and hot.

    Do not boil.

    Stir to prevent scorching and sticking.
