- 2 (6 1/2 oz.) cans minced clams
- 1 c. chopped celery
- 1 c. chopped onion
- 1 (16 oz.) can tomatoes, cut up
- 2 medium potatoes, peeled and diced
- 1/2 c. chopped carrots
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 1 tsp. salt
Directions

1Drain clams.

2Reserve liquid.

3Add enough water to liquid to measure 3 cups.

4In large pot, add all ingredients to liquid, except clams.

5Bring to boil and reduce heat.

6Cover and simmer 30 minutes, or until vegetables are tender.

7Mash lightly to thicken. Add clams.

8Heat through.
