  • 8 Tablespoons Unsalted Butter
  • 3 ounces, weight Unsweetened Chocolate, Finely Chopped
  • 1 cup White Sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoons Salt
  • 2 Eggs, Room Temperature
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
  • 3/4 cups All-purpose Flour

    1. Preheat oven to 350 F. Grease an 8 inch square baking dish then set it aside.

    2. In a saucepan over low heat, combine butter and unsweetened chocolate. Heat, stirring often, until melted, about 4 minutes.

    3. Remove from heat and stir in the sugar and salt.

    4. Then add the eggs and vanilla and stir until well blended.

    5. Sprinkle the flour over the mixture and stir until just blended.

    6. Pour the batter into the prepared dish and spread evenly.

    7. Bake until a toothpick inserted into the center of the brownies comes out almost completely clean, about 25 minutes. Do not overbake.
