  • 1/2 c. margarine or shortening
  • 2 c. brown sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 c. flour
  • 2 tsp. baking powder
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 1/2 c. coconut
  • 1/2 c. nuts

Directions

    Melt margarine in 2-quart pan.

    Add brown sugar, eggs and vanilla.

    Next, add flour, baking soda and salt.

    Stir coconut and nuts in last.
