- 2 c. milk
- 3 eggs
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1/4 c. Grandma's molasses
Directions

1Scald milk.

2Beat together eggs, salt, vanilla and Grandma's molasses.

3Gradually add scalded milk, stirring constantly.

4Pour into 5 or 6 buttered custard cups.

5If desired, sprinkle with nutmeg.

6Set custard cups in shallow baking pan; place in oven. Fill pan with hot water to 3/4-inch from top of cups.

7Bake in slow oven until knife inserted in center comes out clean.

8Yield: 5 or 6 servings.
