- 3/4 c. margarine
- 2 c. sugar
- 1 (16 oz.) can pumpkin or 2 c. mashed, cooked pumpkin
- 1/4 tsp. nutmeg
- 1 c. nuts
- 4 eggs
- 2 c. flour
- 2 tsp. baking powder
- 1 tsp. cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp. soda
- 1/2 tsp. salt
Directions

1Cream margarine and sugar.

2Blend in pumpkin and eggs.

3Add combined dry ingredients.

4Mix well.

5Stir in 1 cup chopped walnuts.

6Spread in greased and floured pan.

7Bake in 9 x 13-inch or 10 x 15-inch pan for 35 to 40 minutes at 350°.

8Frost with cream cheese or buttercream frosting.
