  • 3/4 c. margarine
  • 2 c. sugar
  • 1 (16 oz.) can pumpkin or 2 c. mashed, cooked pumpkin
  • 1/4 tsp. nutmeg
  • 1 c. nuts
  • 4 eggs
  • 2 c. flour
  • 2 tsp. baking powder
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp. soda
  • 1/2 tsp. salt

    Cream margarine and sugar.

    Blend in pumpkin and eggs.

    Add combined dry ingredients.

    Mix well.

    Stir in 1 cup chopped walnuts.

    Spread in greased and floured pan.

    Bake in 9 x 13-inch or 10 x 15-inch pan for 35 to 40 minutes at 350°.
