  • cooking oil
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • filets Sardine, clean
  • 1 cayenne pepper

    Heat plenty of oil in a saucepan over low heat. It should feel warm when placing the palm of your hand a few centimeters over the oil.

    Add the garlic; no crackling noise should be heard. If there is noise, lower the heat.

    Place the sardines and the cayenne in the oil and cook for about 12 minutes.

    The sardine filets should be tender. Serve.
