- 2 2/3 c. all-purpose flour
- 2 1/2 tsp. baking powder
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 2/3 c. margarine, melted
- 2 1/4 c. brown sugar
- 3 eggs
- 1 c. pecans, chopped
- 1 pkg. semi-sweet chocolate chips
Directions

1Sift together flour, baking powder and salt.

2Set aside.

3Melt margarine in a large saucepan.

4Stir in brown sugar and allow to cool slightly.

5Add eggs, one at a time, beating well.

6Add flour mixture, nuts and chocolate chips.

7Pour into a greased 15 x 10 x 1-inch pan.

8Bake at 350° for 30 minutes.

9Cut into squares. Yield: 50 to 60 squares.
