  • 1 box German chocolate cake mix
  • 1 stick butter, melted
  • 1 egg
  • 1 c. nuts (optional)
  • 1 (1 lb.) box powdered sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 8 oz. cream cheese (room temperature)

Directions

    Mix the cake mix, butter, egg and nuts together and spread into greased 9 x 13-inch pan.

    Mix powdered sugar, eggs and cream cheese together.

    Pour over cake mix.

    Bake at 350° for 40 minutes.

    Cool; cut into squares.
