- 1/2 whole Onion
- 6 strips Bacon, Chopped
- 1 teaspoon Olive Oil
- 16 ounces, weight Frozen Corn
- 1 pinch Kosher Salt
- 1 pinch Coarse Black Pepper
- 1 pinch Dried Thyme
- 4 whole Green Onions, Chopped
Directions

1In a large skillet, saute the onion and bacon in the olive oil on medium-low until bacon starts to get crisp, about 10 minutes. After the bacon is crisp, remove the bacon-onion mixtue with a slotted spoon and set aside. Add the corn and seasonings to the skillet and cook on medium-high heat until the corn is heated through and any moisture is cooked out. Return the bacon-onion mixture back to the skillet and stir it all together. Remove from heat. Stir in the green onions.
