  • 1 c. self-rising fine white corn meal
  • 2 Tbsp. self-rising flour
  • 2 Tbsp. oil

Directions

    Mix corn meal and flour with just enough hot water to make a thick batter.

    Put the oil in an iron pan and heat hot.

    Then pour off oil into batter.

    Mix and pour in pan.

    Squirt margarine on top.

    Bake at 450° for approximately 25 minutes until nice and brown.
