- 1 c. self-rising fine white corn meal
- 2 Tbsp. self-rising flour
- 2 Tbsp. oil
Directions

1Mix corn meal and flour with just enough hot water to make a thick batter.

2Put the oil in an iron pan and heat hot.

3Then pour off oil into batter.

4Mix and pour in pan.

5Squirt margarine on top.

6Bake at 450° for approximately 25 minutes until nice and brown.
