- 1 c. yellow corn meal
- 1 c. unbleached flour
- 1/4 c. sugar or honey
- 1 Tbsp. baking powder
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/3 c. oil
- 1 egg
- 1 c. water or milk
Directions

1Combine all dry ingredients, then add egg, oil and milk (or water).

2Pour into small greased casserole dish or 8-inch square pan.

3Bake for 20 to 25 minutes at 400°.

4Corn bread is done when toothpick comes out clean.

5Serve with crock-pot chili.
