  • 6 c. crumbled corn bread
  • 4 c. loaf bread
  • 1 c. chopped celery
  • 3/4 c. finely chopped onions
  • 1/2 c. butter or broth
  • 1 Tbsp. salt
  • 1/8 tsp. pepper
  • 1/4 tsp. sage
  • 1 c. water
  • 4 eggs
  • broth or milk

Directions

    Prepare bread for dressing, crumbling both into large bowl. Cook onions and celery in 1 cup of water on low heat until done. Add to crumbs and seasonings; add broth or milk to make a moist dressing.

    Pour into a greased pan and cook at 400° for about 30 minutes or until brown, or stuff in turkey cavity and bake the last hour of completed time allowed for turkey.
