Ingredients

  • 1/2 lb. bacon, cooked (save 3 Tbsp. grease)
  • 1 onion, chopped fine
  • 3 medium potatoes, diced medium cubes
  • 2 c. water
  • 1 (17 oz.) can cream-style corn
  • 2 c. milk
  • salt and pepper to taste

Directions

    Saute onion in bacon grease or butter.

    (Do not brown.) Add potatoes and water.

    Cook until tender.

    Add remaining ingredients and warm.
  5. 5
    Serve with bacon crumbled on top and Sue Lacroix's corn bread.
