  • 2 c. corn (approximately 6 ears fresh)
  • 2 large slightly beaten eggs
  • 2 Tbsp. all-purpose flour
  • 2 Tbsp. granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 1/2 c. milk or light cream
  • 1 Tbsp. butter
  • dash of pepper
  • dash of nutmeg

Directions

    Mix corn with beaten eggs and set aside.

    Combine flour, sugar, salt, pepper and nutmeg.

    Add milk and beat until smooth. Add melted butter.

    Combine batter with corn and egg mixture and pour into greased casserole.

    Set casserole dish in pan of hot water.

    Bake in a 350° oven approximately 1 hour or until custard is firm.
