  • 1 recipe cornbread
  • 6 slices white bread
  • 1 c. celery, chopped
  • 2 tsp. poultry seasoning
  • 1/2 c. butter, melted
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 c. water
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. pepper

Directions

    Beat eggs slightly.

    Crumble cornbread; dice white bread and add to eggs.

    Add remaining ingredients in order given.

    Mix well. Yields 9 cups stuffing.

    Bake at 375° for 45 minutes (until brown). Use less water if turkey broth is used and cut up pieces of turkey may be added.
