Ingredients
- 2 Tbsp. beef or poultry fat drippings or margarine
- 1 1/2 c. broth (beef or poultry)
- 1/2 c. milk
- 2 Tbsp. cornstarch
- 1/4 c. cold water
- salt and pepper (if desired)
Directions

1Pour off drippings and return 2 tablespoons to roasting pan. Stir in broth. Cook over medium heat, stirring to loosen browned bits from bottom of pan.

2Remove from heat and add milk.

3Mix cornstarch and cold water until smooth.

4Add to liquid in pan. Add salt and pepper to taste.

5Stirring constantly, bring to a boil over medium heat and boil 1 minute.

6Makes about 2 cups gravy. Can be made in saucepan.
