Ingredients
- 3 pkg. yeast
- 3/4 c. water
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 3/4 c. oil
- 6 tsp. salt
- 3 c. hot milk (or 2 c. water and 1 c. milk)
- 3/4 c. cold water
- 6 eggs
Directions

1Heat 2 c. water and 1 c. milk.

2Soften yeast in warm water; let set.

3Combine sugar, oil and salt in large bowl; add hot milk; then add cold water.

4Add eggs that have been whipped a little. Add yeast and mix.

5Add between 7 and 9 c. flour, until a stiff batter.

6Spread a large quantity of flour and pour out batter. Knead dough for about 7 minutes. Put into a greased bowl and let rise until doubled.

7Punch down and turn over.

8Let rise 30 minutes.

9Turn out and shape into rolls or loaves and let rise double.

10Bake at 375° until golden brown.

11Brush with butter.
