Ingredients

  • 1/4 c minced onion
  • 2 T green pepper, finely chopped
  • 1/4 c butter or margarine, melted
  • 1 lb fresh crabmeat, drained and flaked
  • 3/4 fine dry breadcrumbs
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1 T mayonnaise
  • 1 T dried parsley
  • 1 T lemon juice
  • 1 T Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 T Old Bay seasoning
  • 1 T dry mustard
  • dash of hot pepper sauce
  • 1/4 to 1/2 c fine dry breadcrumbs
  • vegetable oil

Directions

    Saute onion and green pepper in butter until tender and remove from heat.

    In a bowl, mix crabmeat, onion and pepper mixture, and next 9 ingredients.

    Mix well and shape into patties. Coat with additional breadcrumbs.
