  • 1 1/3 c. sugar
  • 1 c. oleo
  • 1/2 c. corn syrup
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 10 c. popped corn
  • 1 c. peanuts

Directions

    Bring sugar, oleo and corn syrup to boil, stirring constantly. Boil 10 to 15 minutes, or until mixture turns light caramel color (290° on a candy thermometer).

    Remove from heat.

    Stir in vanilla. Pour over popcorn and peanuts on lightly greased baking sheet. Toss with 2 large spoons until all are coated.

    Cool.

    Break into pieces and store in plastic bags.
