- 1 1/2 c. (3 sticks) butter or margarine
- 1 (8 oz.) pkg. softened cream cheese
- 3 c. sugar
- 6 eggs
- 1/2 tsp. vanilla
- 3 c. flour, sifted
- 1/2 tsp. salt
Directions

1Preheat oven to 325°.

2Grease and flour 10-inch tube or Bundt pan.

3Beat butter and cream cheese together in mixing bowl.

4Add sugar to mixture and cream cheese until light and fluffy.

5Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition.

6Blend in vanilla.

7Sift flour and salt together.

8Spoon batter into tube pan.

9Bake for 1 hour and 15 minutes.

10Cool 5 minutes; dust with powdered sugar.
