- 3 c. Imperial granulated sugar
- 1/2 c. water
- 1/2 tsp. vanilla
- 2 1/2 Tbsp. corn syrup
- 1/2 c. cream
- 1/8 tsp. salt
- 1/2 c. nuts
Directions

1Combine sugar, cream, water, corn syrup and salt; cook to soft ball stage (236°) or 240° above boiling point of water.

2Remove from fire and allow to cool undisturbed until pan can be held with comfort.

3Add flavoring; stir until creamy.

4Add nuts and turn into buttered pan to harden.

5Cut into squares.

6May also be molded into various shapes.

7Yields 1 1/2 pounds.
