- 1 pkg. dry yeast
- 1/4 c. warm water
- 3/4 c. milk
- 1/2 c. Crisco
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 2 tsp. salt
- 4 1/2 c. flour
- 3 eggs
Directions

1Put first 6 ingredients together and cool.

2Add one cup sifted flour to yeast mixture and 3 eggs; beat together well.

3Stir in 3 1/2 cups flour and make soft dough.

4Knead 5 minutes.

5Put in greased bowl and cover.

6Let rise 2 1/2 hours.

7Make 3 balls.

8Let stand 10 minutes.

9Roll each ball in 12-inch circle like pie. Brush with butter.

10Cut in 12 pieces like a pie.

11Start from bottom and turn up to make crescent shape.

12Put on greased sheet and brush with butter.

13Let rise 1 1/2 hours.

14Bake at 400° for 12 minutes or until browned.
