  • 1.5 (15 ounce) cans garbanzo beans
  • 2 teaspoons bottled lemon juice
  • 12 cup chives
  • 3 cups red bell peppers, minced
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 18 teaspoon salt
  • 23 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon pepper

    puree the beans with the paprika,they don't have to be completely smooth;in fact a little texture is a good thing.

    in a bowl mix the bean with the remaining ingredients.

    serve with toasted pita wedges.
