Crustless Quiche

Ingredients

  • 4 eggs
  • 1 12 cups skim milk
  • 12 cup half-and-half
  • 12 teaspoon dried mustard
  • 12 teaspoon sweet-hot paprika (substitute Hungarian Paprika if you don't have access to Sweet-Hot Paprika)
  • salt and pepper
  • 34 cup monterey jack cheese
  • grated nutmeg
  • 12 teaspoon cayenne pepper

Directions

    Pre-heat your oven to 350.

    Beat together the Eggs, Milk, Half and Half, Dried Mustard, Paprika, Salt and Pepper (and Nutmeg and Cayenne, if you are using them).

    In a well greased round cake pan, or lightly greased silicone round cake pan, that has been placed on a cookie sheet, add the cheese, making sure to spread it evenly (if you are adding other ingredients, put them in before the cheese).

    Slowly pour the Egg mixture over the cheese to evenly cover the pan.

    Place in the oven and cook for 35 minutes.

    Be sure to use a knife or a toothpick to check the doneness of the eggs.

    The more ingredients, the more time might be needed.

    Cook until slightly brown and done in the middle.
