  • 1 cup rice (cooked, perfect for leftover rice)
  • 1/2 tsp cumin seeds
  • 1/2 tsp mustard seeds
  • 1 salt
  • 1/2 tsp tumeric powder
  • 4 tbsp curd or yoghurt (i usually make mine at home, dont like ready made?
  • 3 green chillies (optional)
  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • 1 clove garlic, finely chopped

Directions

    Add about a table spoon of oil into a pan and add the cumin and mustard seeds, let it cook until they start to sizzle and add the onions.

    Cook until transparent

    Add the garlic and allow to cook for approc 30secs, add the curd, salt, chillies and tumeric powder.

    Mix until salt is dissolved.

    Add the rice, mix it all up until the rice is covered.

    Allow to cook for about 1 minute.

    Voila, the rice is cooked.

    Pairs up with anythinnnnngggg or can be eaten on its own

    You can even add veggies to it, use brown rice, add some potatoes and you are good to go
