  • 1/3 c. butter
  • 3/4 c. brown sugar
  • 4 tsp. curry powder
  • 1 (16 oz.) can pear halves
  • 5 maraschino cherries (I use 1 small jar)
  • 1 (16 oz.) can cling peaches or apricots
  • 1 (1 lb. 4 oz.) can chunk pineapple

    Heat oven to 325°.

    Melt butter; add brown sugar and curry powder.

    Drain and dry fruits; place in 1 1/2-quart casserole. Add butter mixture.

    Bake 1 hour uncovered.
