  • 2/3 c. sugar
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. nutmeg
  • 2 2/3 c. scalding milk (part cream may be used)
  • 1 tsp. vanilla

Directions

    Pour into pie shell.

    Bake at 450° for 25 to 30 minutes.

    Reduce heat and bake at 350° for 15 minutes or until an inserted knife will come out clean.
