- 4 c. sugar
- 2 pkg. dates
- 3 c. pecans
- 1 small can Carnation milk
- 5 Tbsp. butter
Directions

1Cook sugar, milk and butter until it forms soft ball when dropped in cool water.

2Add dates (cut up) and cook until it forms hard ball when dropped in cool water.

3Take from heat and add pecans.

4Beat until thick.

5Pour out on damp cloth.

6Roll in long round rolls (smaller rolls for smaller pieces of date loaf).

7Place in refrigerator to cool.

8Take out and cut in thin slices.
