- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 1/2 cups milk
- 1/4 cup vegetable oil
Directions

1Combine cornmeal, flour, baking powder, and salt; mix well. Stir in milk just until dry ingredients are moistened. Add oil to batter, stirring well.

2Heat a well-greased 8-inch cast-iron skillet in a 400° oven for 3 minutes or until very hot. Pour batter into hot skillet. Bake at 425° for 30 minutes or until lightly browned.
