  • 1 c. millet
  • 4 c. water
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 c. unsweetened coconut
  • 1/2 c. toasted almonds (can be chopped)
  • 3/4 c. pitted dates, chopped
  • raisins, apricots and other dried fruit to taste (optional)

Directions

    Combine the millet, water and salt in saucepan.

    Bring to a boil, cover, reduce heat and simmer.
  3. 3
    Just before serving, stir in coconut, almonds and dates.

    Makes 4 servings.
