- 1 c. raw rice
- 1 c. sugar (heaping)
- 2 tsp. cornstarch
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 qt. milk
- 2 eggs
- 1 large can evaporated milk
Directions

1Cook rice in 2 1/2 cups water until dry, about 30 minutes. Scald milk in another pan.

2In another container, place sugar, eggs, cornstarch and evaporated milk; mix well.

3Add to heated milk.

4Stir continuously; when mixture starts to boil lightly, remove from stove.

5Add rice and vanilla.

6Place in large bowl. Sprinkle nutmeg on top.

7Yield:
