   Prepare cake mix according to package directions with following modifications:

   Add flour to dry mix and blend well. Substitute equal amount of applesauce for vegetable oil and equal number of egg whites for whole eggs.

   Bake in pan of your choice sprayed with cooking spray.

   Frost if desired.
