  • 1 1/2 c. sugar
  • 3 egg yolks
  • 1 1/2 c. buttermilk
  • 2 1/4 c. sifted cake flour
  • 1 1/2 tsp. soda
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 2 sq. Hershey's chocolate
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 3 egg whites

Directions

    Mix in order given. Add the 3 egg whites, beaten stiff.

    Fold into the cake batter and bake at 350°.

    Frost with Seven Minute Icing or Chocolate Frosting.
