Ingredients

  • 4 c. flour
  • 2 tsp. baking soda
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 2 c. brown sugar
  • 2 c. granulated sugar
  • 2 tsp. vanilla
  • 2 c. vegetable oil
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 1/2 c. quick cooking oats
  • 1 c. coconut
  • 4 c. cornflakes

Directions

    Sift together flour, baking soda and salt.

    Combine sugars, oil, eggs and vanilla in a large bowl (try a large stockpot or kettle).

    Mix well.

    Add remaining ingredients and mix until thoroughly blended.

    Drop by spoonful onto greased cookie sheet. Bake in 325° preheated oven about 15 minutes or until lightly browned.

    Makes 9 to 12 dozen.
