  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 red onion medium, chopped
  • 2 green bell pepper, sliced
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground allspice
  • 1/2 cup golden raisins
  • 1 1/2 cups ragu old world style pasta sauce
  • 1 cook egg hard
  • 2 tablespoons pimiento stuffed olives sliced
  • 2 tablespoons small capers, rinsed and drained
  • 3 cups brown rice
  • 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar

Directions

    Cook ground beef, green peppers and onion in deep 12-inch nonstick skillet over medium-high heat, stirring frequently, 10 minutes or until vegetables are tender. Stir in allspice and cook 30 seconds.

    Stir in Pasta Sauce, raisins, olives, capers and vinegar and simmer, stirring occasionally, 5 minutes or until thickened. Garnish with egg and serve with hot rice.
