  • 6 cups chicken broth
  • 2 cups cleaned and chopped collard greens
  • 1/2 pound ground pork
  • 1/4 teaspoon grated peeled fresh ginger
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon toasted sesame oil
  • 16 square wonton wrappers
  • 1/4 cup chopped green onions, white and green parts

    Put the broth and collard greens in a large saucepan and set the pan over medium-high heat.

    Bring the mixture to a simmer.

    Meanwhile, in a medium bowl, combine the pork, ginger, soy sauce, and sesame oil.

    Arrange the wonton wrappers on a flat surface.

    Spoon the pork filling onto the center of each wrapper, to within 1/4 inch of the edges (about 1 teaspoon per wrapper).

    With wet fingers, pinch the edges together to seal, forming a triangle.

    Then bring the side points together and press together.

    Place the stuffed wontons into the slowly simmering broth.

    Cook for 8 minutes or until the wontons are tender and translucent.

    Remove the pot from the heat and stir in the green onions.
