- 1 c. mashed potatoes
- 1/2 cake household yeast or 2 dry yeast
- 1 1/2 c. sugar
- 2 c. potato water, cooled
- 2 or 3 eggs
- 1/2 c. shortening
- flour to stiffen
Directions

1Mix all ingredients together and let raise until double in size and then divide into five 9-inch round pans and let raise again until double in size.

2Bake at 350° for approximately 20 to 25 minutes.

3Do not stick with a fork.
