  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 1 (28 oz.) can stewed tomatoes
  • 1 c. water
  • 1 (15 oz.) can red kidney beans
  • 2 medium carrots, sliced
  • 1/2 medium head of cabbage, cut into chunks
  • 1/4 c. macaroni
  • 1 tsp. basil
  • dash of pepper
