Ingredients

  • 10 eggs
  • 1/2 c. milk
  • 5 slices bread, cut into 1-inch cubes
  • 1 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
  • 2 tsp. dry onion flakes
  • 1 tsp. seasoned salt
  • 1/2 lb. cooked breakfast sausage, crumbled
  • 1 small can chopped green chilies (optional)

Directions

    Beat eggs and milk, then add salt and onion flakes.

    Spread bread cubes, sausage and cheese in a lightly greased 9 x 13-inch baking pan.

    Pour egg mixture over all items in the pan.

    Cover pan with foil and either refrigerate overnight or bake now.

    Bake at 350° for 30 minutes, then remove foil and continue baking for an additional 5 minutes or until eggs are completely cooked.

    Cut into squares to serve 6 to 8.
