- 2 sticks (1 c.) butter
- 2 c. brown sugar
- 1/2 c. corn syrup
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. baking soda
- 3 to 4 qt. popped corn
Directions

1Preheat oven to 250°.

2In a heavy saucepan, combine the butter, brown sugar, corn syrup and salt.

3Bring to a boil and boil for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.

4Remove from heat and add baking soda.

5Stir well.

6Place popcorn in large roasting pan and pour caramel sauce over the popcorn.

7Stir.

8Bake 45 minutes, stirring every 15 minutes.
