- 2 cups Rolled Oats
- 2 Tablespoons Packed Brown Sugar (light Or Dark)
- 1 teaspoon Cinnamon
- 1 pinch Ground Nutmeg
- 1/4 teaspoons Kosher Salt
- 1/4 cups Honey Or Agave Syrup
- 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
Directions

1Place your oven rack in the middle of the oven, and preheat oven to 300 degrees F.

2Place oats, brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt in a large bowl and stir together.

3In a small bowl, add honey, vegetable oil and vanilla extract.

4Stir to combine.

5Pour the syrup mixture over the oat mixture, and mix together.

6Place the granola mixture on a large baking sheet lined with foil, and spread into a thin, even layer.

7Bake for 15 minutes.

8Remove from oven and toss mixture.

9Place back in the oven for another 5 to 10 minutes, or until the oats smell and look lightly toasted.

10Place the granola in a cool place, and let it cool to room temperature for about 20 minutes, stirring occasionally (I stir every 5 minutes or so).

11Once the granola cools down, feel free to add in your favorite chopped nuts, dried fruit, and leftover toasted oats cereal.

12This will last at room temperature for up to 2 weeks.
