- 8 c. biscuit mix
- 2 c. raisins
- 2 Tbsp. caraway seed
- 1/4 c. sugar
- 4 eggs
- 1 1/3 c. milk
Directions

1Mix biscuit mix, raisins, caraway seed and sugar.

2Beat eggs and milk and add all at once to dry ingredients.

3Stir to form a sticky dough.

4Knead on a lightly floured board a few times to form a smooth ball.

5Cut dough into 2 pieces.

6Shape pieces of dough into 2 smooth balls. Place balls on greased cookie sheets. With a sharp knife, cut a cross 1/2 inch deep in center of each ball.

7Bake in preheated oven (400°) for 25 to 30 minutes until brown and center feels firm.

8Cool thoroughly on rack before cutting.

9Bread can be frozen in foil and thawed in wrapping 2 hours.
