  • 1 chuck roast (any size)
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 2 pkg. instant brown gravy
  • 3 to 6 potatoes, cut in chunks
  • 3 carrots, chopped in large pieces

Directions

    Place roast in a large glass casserole dish and add vegetables.

    Mix gravy according to package directions, reducing water by 1/8 cup.

    Pour over roast and cover.

    Cook 2 1/2 to 3 hours at 400° or until meat pulls apart easily.
