- 6 c. thinly sliced cucumbers
- 2 c. thinly sliced onions
- 1 1/2 c. sugar
- 1 1/2 c. vinegar
- 1 tsp. celery seed
- 1/2 tsp. mustard seed
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. ground turmeric
Directions

1In a large jar, alternately layer the sliced cukes and onions. In a medium saucepan, combine sugar, vinegar, celery seed, salt, mustard seed and turmeric.

2Bring to boil, stirring just until sugar is dissolved.

3Pour over cukes and onions.

4Cover tightly and refrigerate for 24 hours.

5Store up to one month.

6Makes up to 7 cups; really crispy and delicious.
